Marie Gogo is an entertaining singer who is known to many audiences as "The Lady with the Hats" or "The Lady who plays the Saw".

Her repertoire consists of a variety of popular and jazz standards, show tunes, sing-a-long songs and novelty numbers such as songs that were sung by Marlene Dietrich, Mae West, Gracie Fields and Fats Waller.

Sometimes she throws in a bit of dancing or a tune on the ukulele or the musical saw!  Shows are specifically tailored for seniors.

For over a year now, Marie has been introducing to her audiences, the musically versatile David Skolnick as her new accompanist. Together, with their warmth and humour, they engage the audience in a show that feels more like a visit than a concert. Not only are songs sung but jokes are also told.

David Skolnick also plays the accordion, guitar and ukulele, he sings and is also willing to do silly banter with Marie. His talents are a welcome addition to Miss Gogo's shows. She is sure your audience will be excited when he shows up with his accordion!

Occasionally the funny and talented, Don Guinn accompanies Marie as a pianist and humorist.

Together, Marie and her accompanist perform in appropriate costumes for each theme and Marie does a costume changes in her shows as well, for more excitement and variety.

Marie has been called an engaging entertainer, has been praised for being interactive with the crowds and for having awfully nice shoes! Audience members often remark on what a fun time they have had.

Marie and her accompanist are available for to perform afternoon or evenings. The two of them enjoy playing for Seniors' Clubs, Seniors' Condos, Senior's Apartment Buildings, Adult Day Centres, in Retirement Homes, Nursing homes, Concert Venues or wherever seniors gather.
